For sophistication, try a black and white wedding cake.

Wedding cakes can be found in a variety of shapes, sizes, designs, and colors and nothing shows elegance and sophistication more than black and white wedding cakes. These can be used for both casual and formal wedding gatherings and can also be accented with numerous accents and decorations in a variety of colors to make for a fun cake that is uniquely yours. When choosing accents many brides choose brightly colored rose petals, a colorful cake topper, or small beads or flowers. Black and white wedding cakes are also elegant when not accented at all.

Black and white wedding cakes can be designed in several ways. Designing a cake is left mostly up to the preferences of the couple. There is a wide range of design options, from alternating layers between the two colors, separating the layers by black ribbons, or using black fondant to create different shapes, such as polka dots, on a white cake. You could not only decorate the cake in black and white, but the surrounding area could be decorated as well. By adding the varying accents to the black and white wedding cake you create a unique masterpiece to make your wedding memories one of a kind.
